Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Joystick Tales. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund policy below to understand your rights and responsibilities when making a purchase through our site.


1. Returns for Physical Products

We accept returns for eligible physical products within 14 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

Eligibility for Return:

  • Item must be unused and in its original packaging

  • Item must be in the same condition as received

  • Proof of purchase is required (e.g. order confirmation)

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable or digital content

  • Perishable or customized items

  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”

How to Initiate a Return:

To start a return, please contact us at returns@joysticktales.com with your order number and reason for return. If your return is approved, we’ll provide return instructions.

Shipping Costs:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

  • If your return is approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.


2. Refunds for Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital goods (e.g., downloadable files, game keys, eBooks, etc.), all digital sales are final and non-refundable, except in the case of:

  • Technical issues preventing access or download (must be reported within 7 days of purchase)

  • Duplicate purchases made in error (must be reported within 48 hours)

Please email support@joysticktales.com with your issue, and we’ll do our best to assist or issue a credit/refund if eligible.


3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at returns@joysticktales.com within 7 days of delivery with:

  • A photo of the item and packaging

  • A description of the issue

  • Your order number

We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no additional cost.


4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or sent in error. If you need to exchange an item, email us at returns@joysticktales.com with your request.


5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement

  2. Contact your bank or payment provider — it may take a few days to post

  3. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, contact us at support@joysticktales.com
